Does this sound familiar?

Your young adult...

✓ Sleeps odd hours

✓ Scrolls constantly

✓ Has no direction

✓ Is anxious about the future

✓ Starts things but never finishes

✓ Doesn't know what career fits

✓ Avoids responsibility

✓ Has ADHD or executive functioning struggles

✓ Says"I don't know..." Every conversation.

You didn't expect parenting to look like this.

You imagined they'd gradually become independent, find work they enjoy, build healthy relationships, and begin creating a life of their own.

Instead, they seem stuck.

If you're worried you've tried everything, you're not alone. Many families I work with feel exactly the same way before they discover a different path forward.

Imagine 6 months from now...

Your young adult...

✓ Wakes up with purpose

✓ Understands themselves

✓ Has direction

✓ Has confidence

✓ Knows what career fits

✓ Makes decisions

✓ Takes responsibility

✓ Feels hopeful

Let's Talk About Your Young Adult

A bit about Jen:

Jen has spent decades supporting young people and their parents from 1:1 support to leading small and large groups.

To her coaching, she brings experience and training as a:

  • 25+ Year Educator

  • Certified F.I.T. LIFE Method Coach & Mentor

  • Certified ADHD Coach

  • Cetified Breathwork Practitioner

  • First & Second Degree trained Reiki practitioner

What if my young adult won't talk?

Experience has proven that your young adult just needs an objective person to listen to them and that's what I am good at. I know the questions to ask and how to set up the sessions so that they will talk. I have yet to experience a client unwilling to talk. Before taking them on, they have to choose to work with me. If they aren't ready, they aren't ready. I can still support you in helping them "be ready."

What if they have ADHD?

ADHD is my jam. I have supported those with ADHD my entire career. If they take medication for their ADHD symptoms, they should continue to follow medical advice.

What if they're anxious?

Many young adults who reach out start out feeling quite anxious. It's my job to help them navigate anxious symptoms. If they take medication for their anxiety, they should continue to follow medical advice.

What if they're living at home?

Lots of young adults still live at home. As long as they have an uninterrupted, safe space to hop on a call, we can still do great work together. The ultimate goal is to get their momentum going, so that they can one day  move out.

What if they're unemployed?

They may be unemployed because they have a lot going on under the surface that they don't know how to handle. It's my job to uncover that and to help your young adult move it out of the way, so they can finally find a job that works.

What if they're in university?

If the concern is their schedule, then not to worry. I have times available that work for everyone. Part of my service is to offer multiple opportunities to access my support in ways that work them whether more frequent, shorter sessions, text/phone check-ins, or longer 60 or 90 minute sessions.

What if they hate coaching?

They might, but what if they like it? I have yet to work with anyone who "hates" coaching. Who doesn't like someone to be there to listen, validate  and support. them? I've had parents worry that their young adult wouldn't show up, but the way my program works allows them to participate in ways that work for them. It's like anything unfamiliar - once the scary, newness of a situation dissipates, it's not longer a fear to avoid. If they really aren't ready, then we can postpone and try again later. I will keep reaching out.
